Wind Chase Comp

Today we held another wind chasing day and what a day it turned out The day started with a light SW breeze but with the promise of 15-20 mph W by the afternoon So the decision was made to set the court up with a crosswind to start and wait for the winds to swing around and pick up in the afternoon. What a decision it was by about 12:30 the winds swung and picked up the the PB's started coming thick and fast. Top man on the day was Phil Jones showing he's still got it. But only just winning by under a meter. Will Irving taking second late in the day from Tony Jones who visited us from over the bridge, always a pleasure to see you TJ. With the top 4 places being decided by just 3 meters. Well done to new member Simon Morgan with a Pb of 162.17 on the 150g.And another well done to our junior star Garwyn who broke his Welsh record on the 100g again with a cracking cast of 198m and smashing the Junior club record once again See you all at the end of the month when I will be holding another comp with an Easter theme
