Well what a day and a good turnout at such short notice. It was nice to have some wind blowing down the court for a change and boy did it blow
What a cracking day's casting we had today with the lead being contested between 4 of the country's top casters. First to set the benchmark was Andy Copping then Christian Brayley took charge only for Phil Jones to put a few meters on that. Then Tony Jones put in a monster on the 100g to pinch the lead. This must have got Christian's competative juices flowing again after a long lay off as he took the day with a 266m cast, showing us all why he is still one of the best casters in the country. He also ended up with a four lead aggregate of 1024.63 look out Spiderman's back.
With the wind blowing at 20 mph and gusting to 30 mph there were so many PB's today that naming all the casters who had them would take too long
Well done to all on achieving PB's today,also A Morgan has moved into group 1, and Simon Batey up to group 2 well done to you both.
